ECLiPSe, The University of Akureyri Iceland

We have download the ECLiPSe software ( i386_nt/  ) but encounter a problem .



We tried to unzip the distrubution files with WinZip but got this error message 

"Error reading header after proccessing 0 entries"



PowerArchiver 2002  was then used to unpack ( unzip ) these files:

 

    eclipse_basic.tgz            Kernel and basic libraries
    eclipse_doc_online.tgz       Documentation (html, txt)
    eclipse_doc_print.tgz        Documentation (pdf)
    eclipse_misc.tgz            free/3rd party libraries
    if_cplexXY.tgz              Interface to CPLEX(r)
    if_xpressXY.tgz             Interface to XPRESS-MP
 
That creates just unzip files with the same name. There is no ECLiPSe directory structures created  thus there is no file with name "ecl_inst.tcl"  to double-click as mentioned in the README.TXT.

 

System used:

Microsoft Windows ME.

4.90.3000

 

Also tried in:

Microsoft Windows 98

Second Edition

4.10.2222 A



Any advice reagarding this would be appreciated.
