I was in the middle of a query, which was not working. I am using some ECLiPSe code which calls out to GAP and the GAP part was not working properly, the GAP bit was not likely to stop, so I didn't think the abort button would work. Hence I used the "X" button. In this case I think this course of action is necessary.

Warwick conjectures that it stopped the tkeclipse process, but not the interrupt process, so it could not be recreated next time. This seems to make sense.

Yip Red Hat 9, my laptop dual boots that with Windows XP. I was mainly using Windows XP at the summer school to test for any bugs for you guys and also I had Java working better there. I think someone asked me to but I can not remember who!

If you want me to file a proper bug report, or need any more information, the feel free to ask. The only reason I am using this account, and not my academic one is that I am visiting St Andrews :-)
