I seem to have many problems in running the C/C++ interface to Eclipse. I am working under Linux with the latest version of Eclipse. The compiler seems to compile correctly the programs (I am trying the examples in the /doc/examples directory), but none seems to run. Here are the snaps of the errors returned: pippo[63]% gcc -I$ECLIPSEDIR/include/$ARCH eg_c_basic.c -L$ECLIPSEDIR/lib/$ARCH -leclipse pippo[64]% a.out pippo[65]% (no output produced) pippo[61]% gcc -I$ECLIPSEDIR/include/$ARCH eg_c_sendmore.c -L$ECLIPSEDIR/lib/$ARCH -leclipse pippo[62]% a.out bad eclipse object file version in ','('/home/pippo2/Eclipse5/lib/kernel.eco', ','([], [])) pippo[59]% g++ -I$ECLIPSEDIR/include/$ARCH eg_cc_sendmore.cc -L$ECLIPSEDIR/lib/$ARCH -leclipse pippo[60]% a.out a.out: Symbol `ec_' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking No such file or directory in pcompile('\330\322\005\b\360\322\005\b\b\323\005\b\310\315\005\b\020\316\005\b\370\315\005\b0\306\005\b\031/lib/kernel.pl', 2, sepia_kernel) -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Knowledge representation, Logic | email: epontell@cs.nmsu.edu and Advanced Programming (KLAP) | enrico@acm.org Department of Computer Science | www: http://www.cs.nmsu.edu/~epontell Box 30001, Dept.
