After calling get_flag(hostname,X) I get
X= "viher-m.ptip.net" ,

and after typing info hostname in Tclsh
I get viher-m

Hi Matt,

to help us fix this bug properly, can
you please do the
following little check on your machine.
I guess the problem
is that Eclipse and Tcl have different
ideas about your
machine name:

Start an eclipse and call
get_flag(hostname,X).

Start tcl by selecting
get_flag(hostname,X) and type
info hostname

and tell us which results you get in
both cases!
