I just tried inspecting a term through a display matrix using 5.4#27 on a
couple of different Windows versions here, and it seemed to work.  Can you
please tell us exactly what you're doing (e.g. include a program, tell us
what query to run, which entry to try to inspect and when, etc.) so that we
can determine whether the difference is in the Windows installation or in
the example we're trying?

Regarding contigs/5, this seems to have been broken since before version
3.5.2, which was when ECLiPSe came to IC-Parc (and pre-dates me by quite a
few years).  Given our limited resources and the fact that it's been broken
so long and nobody seems to have noticed, I'm afraid it's unlikely that
we'll be fixing it.  Hopefully you can find some other way of doing what you
want.
